WebAccess automation software Affordable Web browser technology for automation, process control, facilities management, energy monitoring, SCADA and manufacturing. Broadwin WebAccess is the first fully Web browser-based software package for industrial automation, Human Machine Interfaces (HMI) and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA).
View and Control Automation equipment with an ordinary Web browser Using a standard Web-Browser, users can view and control automation equipment used in manufacturing facilities, industrial process plants, electric power stations and building automation systems. Data is displayed in real-time with dynamically updated graphics using full motion animation. WebAccess also supplies communications drivers that enable remote personal computers to communicate with automation hardware including programmable logic controllers (PLC), IO, controllers, direct digital control systems (DDC) and distributed control systems (DCS) from manufacturers such as Allen-Bradley, GE, Honeywell, Trane, and Siemens or others using open protocols including BACnet, LON, Modbus and OPC.
Client The WebAccess Client plug-in is available for desktop computers, and laptops running Microsoft Windows CE, 98, 2000, XP ( including XP Home), 2003 Server and Vista (including Home, Business and Ultimate) using Internet Explorer 6.0 or 7.0. Internet Explorer 6.0 and 7.0 support all features of the WebAccess client plug-in. The Client provides full-animation graphics and dynamically updated real-time data. (See Notes 1 and 2). Thin Client Interface The WebAccess Thin Client Interface requires no additional software. Intended for PDA and Pocket PC, any ASP enabled web browser can view the Thin Client Graphics including computers running Microsoft Windows CE, 95 98, ME, NT, 2000, XP, 2003, Vista and Internet Explorer. SCADA NODE The WebAccess SCADA node software is available for desktop computers, and laptops running Microsoft Windows CE, 2000, Server 2003, XP Professional and Vista (Business or Ultimate). PROJECT NODE - CONFIGURATION TOOL AND DATABASE SERVER The WebAccess PROJECT Node software is available for desktop computers, and laptops running Microsoft Windows 2000, 2003, or XP Professional and Vista (Business or Ultimate). WebAccess is available in multiple languages including English, French, Japanese, Korean, simplified Chinese and traditional Chinese.
Note 1 - XP Home and Vista Home are supported only as a Client. Only dual core Vista PC from INTEL and AMD support all features of the client. Note 2 - Windows CE Client has limited functionality (no scripts or video) and is designed for specific hardware. Contact your local sales office for more information.
