Welcome to WebAccess Classroom Training. Regularly scheduled courses are taught at Broadwin facilities in the San Francisco Bay Area and at training facilities around the world. You can also arrange a class at your own facility.

Class Schedule
Classes in Fremont and San Ramon, California generally start at 9:00 a.m. each day and end at approximately 6:30 p.m.  The schedule is designed to cover a large amount of information in as few days as possible in order to reduce the impact on running your business. When making travel plans, please allow enough time so the entire duration of the course can be attended. Both facilities are about 35 miles from downtown San Francisco. It is recommended to stay near the training facility.  Visits to the city (San Francisco) are easily made during evening hours (a fast reverse commute) or during the preceding weekend.  Broadwin does not recommend the purchase of nonrefundable or nontransferable airline tickets. Broadwin accepts no liability due to cancellation of a training class.

Student Requirements
Each Broadwin WebAccess course contains a high level of hands-on training. For this reason, familiarity with Personal Computers and  Windows 98, Windows 2000 or Windows XP is a must. 

Tuition
Tuition includes instruction, course materials, and computer time. Tuition does not include other expenses. Meals, transportation, hotel and all other expenses are the responsibility of the student. All tuition is subject to change without notice.

"On-site" Training Classroom Setup
Each Broadwin WebAccess course contains a high level of hands-on training. Networking is built into WebAccess. Classrooms must have an Ethernet or other TCP/IP network and each PC will have a network card, cable to a hub and Windows 98 (minimum), with 2000 or XP Professional recommended. This the responsibility of the client for "on site" training courses .
 

Cancellations
You may cancel your enrollment in a class up to 2 weeks prior to the start of the course without incurring a cancellation charge. If you cancel in fewer than 2 weeks, you will be charged the full tuition. Substitutions are accepted at any time. If a student fails to show up for a class, that student will be billed for full tuition. No refunds will be made for students who leave the class prematurely.

Course Materials
Our instructors provide students with the skills and material to immediately begin development of automation projects using Broadwin WebAccess HMI and SCADA software.  Students are encouraged to bring sketches, graphics and tag databases from real automation projects.  The benefit of attending a class with our experienced instructors is to significantly reduced time and cost in developing your next automation application. All Broadwin WebAccess Training materials are copyrighted. No material of any Broadwin course may be reproduced or transmitted in any form without prior written approval of Broadwin Technology, Inc.

Course Instruction at your facility 

Courses can be arranged at your facility or a nearby location with about 60 days advanced notice. We provide the instructor(s), software and course materials.  You provide the room, and for each student, you must provide a PC with an Ethernet network card, cable to a hub and Windows 98 (minimum), 2000 or XP Professional recommended. 

Monitor and Control industrial and faciltity automation equipment using an ordinary web browser.
San Francisco Bay Area Training (California USA)

Regularly scheduled courses are taught in the San Francisco Bay Area at one of two locations:

  • Broadwin Headquarters in San Ramon, CA
  • Training facility in Fremont, CA 

The location depends on expected attendance, with the Fremont facility capable of supporting 20 students in a class and the 5-day courses.

Both facilities are about 35 miles from downtown. It is recommended to stay near the training facility and visit the city during evening (a fast reverse commute).

Broadwin Technology Headquarters and Engineering offices are located in the San Francisco bay area.
