Broadwin Technology Inc. said today it has won a contract this year to
provide its Web Access software for the control system upgrade
at the University of California in Berkeley,
California. The project is part of the university's building
automation system and is aimed at integrating 50
Buildings into a single automation system.
Using a standard Web-Browser, users can view and control automation equipment used in manufacturing facilities, industrial process plants and building automation systems. Unique to WebAccess, all configuration and deployment can be performed
remotely through a standard web browser including IO configuration, graphics building and remote software administration.
WebAccess is available for desktop computers and laptops running Windows
CE/98/ME/2000/2003/XP. Internet Explorer 6.0 supports all features of
WebAccess.
